ZMD AG ZMD31014: Resistive-bridge-signal-conditioner ICs target microcontroller-based sensor systems

Features include a 14-bit low-noise ADC, a 2.7 to 5.5V supply-voltage range, 150-µA typical power consumption, and 2-µA standby-mode power consumption for battery-operated applications. Suiting the correction of resistive-bridge sensors, the CMOS IC combines high-accuracy amplification with analog-to-digital conversion of a differential input. The vendor claims that the ICs provide 0.25% accuracy over a –40 to +125°C temperature range and 0.1% accuracy over a 0 to 70°C temperature range. Available in an SOP-8 package, the ZMD31014 IC costs $2.50 (1000).
